Out for Sunday
Williamson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers.
Analisi
Williamson will sit out the second leg of a back-to-back for injury management of his left hamstring, and with Trey Murphy (elbow) joining him on the sidelines, Saddiq Bey will likely be the focal point of the Pelicans' offense Sunday evening. Micah Peavy could be headed for a start, and Bryce McGowens should get all the run he can handle. Williamson will likely return for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Scores 25 points in loss
Williamson notched 25 points (8-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 31 minutes during Saturday's 104-96 loss to the Warriors.
Analisi
The Pelicans put up a good fight but came up short against the Warriors, although Williamson posted a strong stat line. Williamson has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four games, and he seems to be getting into a nice groove after missing eight games in a row between Nov. 4 and Nov. 17 due to a nagging hamstring problem. The lack of availability has always been an issue with Williamson, but when he's healthy and ready to go, he's a dominant force near the rim and an excellent rebounder for his size.

Goes for 29 points in win
Williamson totaled 29 points (8-14 FG, 13-16 FT), one rebound, two assists, one block and two steals over 30 minutes during Monday's 143-130 victory over the Bulls.
Analisi
Williamson returned from a one-game absence, as he didn't play Saturday against the Hawks on the second leg of a back-to-back set. The 29-point output matched his previous season-high mark, and it marked the fourth time he's cleared the 25-point threshold in his eight outings. Williamson should remain one of the Pelicans' go-to scoring weapons as long as he stays healthy -- which has been a big "if" this season.
