The hits keep coming for Gilgeous-Alexander, who lifted his seasonal scoring average to 32.0 points per game. That's good enough for second in the league behind Luka Doncic (33.6) and just ahead of Anthony Edwards (29.4). While it's hard to envision the 2024-25 MVP to outdo last season's results, he's converting 55.8 percent of his shot attempts, which is on pace to set a career high by a wide margin.

Analisi
Gilgeous-Alexander put together a strong showing on the offensive end and has now scored 30 or more points 33 times in 47 appearances so far this season. However, he was unable to single-handedly keep his team in the game in the second half, as OKC entered the fourth quarter down by 16, and that deficit only grew down the stretch. Despite a third loss in four games for the Thunder, the reigning MVP continues to play at a high level and provide strong production across the board.

Gilgeous-Alexander got off to a rough start Tuesday, putting up six straight bricks to begin the game, but he found his rhythm after some trips to the line and got hot after halftime. This was Gilgeous-Alexander's first game without any defensive statistics since Jan. 4, but fantasy managers can expect that to change Thursday in Minnesota.
