The Nets attempted to make a late run in the fourth quarter, but Grimes kept the 76ers afloat with 15 of his game-high 28 points coming in the fourth quarter. Grimes has struggled from three-point range as of late (2-for-18 from beyond the arc over his last three outings), but the fifth-year pro is working in an elevated role on offense due to the absences of Tyrese Maxey (finger), Kelly Oubre (elbow) and Paul George (suspension). Grimes has started in each of the Sixers' last seven games, and over that span he has averaged 18.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals over 33.1 minutes per game.

Grimes struggled from deep, but he was rewarded for his aggressiveness with a season-high 11 made free throws. He's scored at least 23 points in two of his last three outings, and the fifth-year pro should continue to operate in an expanded role due to the absences of Tyrese Maxey (finger), Joel Embiid (oblique) and Paul George (suspension).

Analisi
Grimes led the 76ers with 17 points, playing at least 30 minutes for the third straight game. While it has been a disappointing campaign for Grimes, injuries to both Tyrese Maxey (finger) and VJ Edgecombe (back) could see Grimes playing a sizeable role for the foreseeable future. With another four games still to come this week, Grimes figures to be a popular short-term addition to just about any fantasy squad.

Grimes ended with 26 points (9-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 loss to Atlanta.
Analisi
With VJ Edgecombe dealing with a lumbar contusion, Grimes is experiencing a surge in fantasy value. The 26 points were Grimes' most since the Nov. 30 defeat to the Hawks, and he's now posted at least 16 points in back-to-back games after being held to single digits in his prior three contests. Through 10 appearances as a starter in 2025-26, the 25-year-old swingman has averaged 12.8 points, 4.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 33.9 minutes per game.
