Porzingis and the rest of the Celtics' top players will be sidelined for Sunday's regular-season finale as Boston looks to embark on yet another deep postseason run. Porzingis missed the first 17 games of the season while recovering from offseason surgery on his left foot and ankle area, and he missed additional time due to a viral infection in mid March. The 2015 first-round pick will finish his second regular season in Boston averaging 19.6 points on 48.3 percent shooting (including a career-best 41.2 percent from three on 6.0 3PA/G), 6.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 blocks in 28.8 minutes per game across 42 starts.

Analisi
Porzingis will return to action Friday after sitting out Boston's previous contest for rest purposes. Since the Celtics are already locked into the second seed in the Eastern Conference, it wouldn't be surprising for their starters to play less than their normal workloads.

Analisi
After missing two of the prior four games while fighting off the effects of an illness, Porzingis looked 100 percent healthy as he matched his season highs in points and made threes -- he hit both numbers against the Bulls on Jan. 29. The 29-year-old center has had his usual trouble staying in the lineup this season, and in 12 appearances since the All-Star break he's averaging 20.3 points, 6.3 boards, 2.6 threes, 2.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals.
