Making his first start since the first game of the first round against the Suns on April 12, McCain provided strong secondary scoring for the Thunder. The second-year guard has played at least 24 minutes in four straight games, taking advantage of the absence of Jalen Williams (hamstring). Over that stretch, McCain is averaging 15.0 points, 3.8 boards, 2.0 threes and 1.0 assists, although he's shooting just 34.4 percent from the floor. With Jalen Williams (hamstring) and Ajay Mitchell (calf) out, head coach Mark Daigneault will shake things up and slide McCain into the starting five for the first time this postseason. The guard replaces Cason Wallace in the backcourt, giving Oklahoma City an additional scoring threat and floor spacer alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. McCain was unable to repeat his heroics from Game 3, tallying just four points, the fewest he has scored in his past five appearances. McCain was fantastic in the win, scoring at least 20 points for the first time in the postseason. His role continues to grow, as he's logged at least 26 minutes in two straight games while providing the Thunder with an additional scoring threat off the bench. Over his past three appearances, McCain has averaged 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers.

Analisi
While it wasn't the best night for McCain shooting the ball, he saw his largest workload of the postseason. If Jalen Williams (hamstring) is unable to play in Game 3, McCain could again be called upon to play a larger role on the wings.
