The Jazz traded Niang (foot), Walter Clayton, Taylor Hendricks, Kyle Anderson (illness) and three first-round picks to the Grizzlies on Tuesday in exchange for Jaren Jackson, John Konchar (neck), Jock Landale and Vince Williams, per Shams Charania of ESPN.

Niang continues to recover from offseason foot surgery, which prevented him from making his season debut with Utah.
