Analisi
Mitchell wasn't shy about hunting his shot Saturday and ended two field-goal attempts short of matching his season-high mark. He knocked down at least seven triples for the third time this season. The star guard led all players in points and has now racked up at least 28 in four consecutive games to kick off December. Over that stretch, he has averaged 33.3 points, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.

According to Ethan Sands of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Mitchell appeared to tweak something in his right hand during the game. While he was able to play through it, this could result in Mitchell being added to the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Warriors. If he does need to skip the second leg of this back-to-back set, Darius Garland would be asked to step it up on offense and there would be more minutes available for Craig Porter.

Analisi
Mitchell had another strong showing Wednesday, but it wasn't enough as the Cavaliers continue to struggle. Cleveland has lost four of their last five games, but Mitchell has certainly pulled his weight. During that stretch, the guard has averaged 30.6 points on 47.9 percent shooting from the field with 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 4.0 three-pointers.

It was another scoring outburst for Mitchell, who scored 27 points through the first three frames of Monday's contest before putting the Cavaliers on his back with 16 fourth-quarter points to help snap the team's three-game losing streak. It was the third time this season that Mitchell scored 40-plus points, two of which have come over his last three outings. He is averaging 30.6 points, 5.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 threes and 1.4 steals over 34.3 minutes through the first 20 games of the 2025-26 regular season.
