Flagg (foot) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Lakers.

Flagg was initially labeled doubtful, but the Mavs downgraded him to out later Wednesday night. The star rookie will also be held out of the Rising Stars Game on Friday. However, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN, Flagg isn't expected to miss any further time, meaning he'll likely be back in action when Dallas faces Minnesota on Feb. 20. Naji Marshall (foot) and Klay Thompson could see more playing time Thursday while Flagg is out.

After struggling to just 14 points against the Spurs on Saturday, Flagg bounced back and topped 25 points for the fifth time in the last six games. Over that stretch, the teenage phenom is averaging 32.0 points, 7.7 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.2 blocks while shooting 52.6 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from beyond the arc as he continues to solidify his case for the Rookie of the Year Award.

Flagg finished with 32 points (14-27 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and two steals across 39 minutes during Thursday's 135-123 loss to the Spurs.
Analisi
Flagg turned in another solid performance across the board, stringing together a fourth consecutive game of scoring 30 or more points. He's been nearly unstoppable during this stretch, averaging 37.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.8 blocks while shooting 56.2 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from downtown.
