Sexton (thigh) will not play Sunday against the Nuggets.
Analisi
Sexton will miss a second straight game, and it's not a great sign for his fantasy managers that he's being ruled out a day in advance. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Tre Mann (knee) also out, the Hornets will likely use a committee approach to soak up the backcourt minutes.

Analisi
The Hornets initially labeled Sexton's injury a knee contusion after he was forced out of Wednesday's game, but his injury has now been updated to a thigh strain. His absence from the active roster should open up some minutes for KJ Simpson, Antonio Reeves and Liam McNeeley. For now, Sexton should be considered questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Nuggets.

Analisi
With Brandon Miller (shoulder) and Tre Mann (ankle) both in street clothes Monday, Sexton scored an efficient 15 points off the bench but didn't see a rise in playing time. The veteran guard is a fine low-end option in points leagues, but his high turnover rate and lack of contributions across the board severely limit his effectiveness in category-based leagues. Sexton has averaged 16.1 points, 4.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 2.6 turnovers per contest in 20 games this season.
