Gillespie turned in a balanced performance, scoring at least 20 points for the first time in the past 12 games. It continues what has been a breakout season for Gillespie, who is currently putting up top-50 value in nine-category leagues, averaging 13.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.9 three-pointers. He should be able to hold down a sizable spot in the rotation, even with Jalen Green (hamstring) slated to return as soon as Tuesday.

Gillespie finished Thursday's 108-105 loss to Detroit with 18 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, six assists and two steals over 36 minutes.
Analisi
Gillespie saw some more shots falling his way with Devin Booker (ankle) watching from the sidelines, and he made the most of the increased opportunity. He hasn't been the most consistent scorer this season, but the third-year guard has been getting it done with the assists (4.8), triples (2.9) and steals (1.5), which is why he's ranked inside the top-60 on the year.

Analisi
Gillespie continues to be a middle-of-the-road fantasy asset for the Suns. Over his last eight appearances, he's averaging 26.7 minutes per contest with 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.4 three-pointers. With Jalen Green (hamstring) due back soon, it will be interesting to see how the backcourt rotation shapes up.
