Adebayo will sit out Sunday's regular-season finale due to the Heat already being locked into the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. Haywood Highsmith and Kyle Anderson will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Adebayo should be able to return to action for Wednesday's Play-In Game against Chicago.

Analisi
Adebayo has made a concerted effort to develop his three-point shot this season, allowing him to more easily play alongside Kel'el Ware in the frontcourt. Adebayo has made massive strides in that department, converting 35.7 percent of his 2.8 three-point attempts per contest in 2024-25 after his previous career high in attempts per game was 0.6. Since Ware moved into the starting lineup Jan. 21, Adebayo is shooting 42.5 percent on 3.2 three-point attempts per outing across 38 appearances.

Analisi
Adebayo didn't have his best shooting performance. However, on that note, it must be stated that he's been better than expected with his long-range shooting -- he's made multiple threes in each of his last six appearances while making 54.2 percent of his 4.0 three-pointers per game in that span. The Heat have gone 3-3 in Adebayo's last six outings, and the big man is averaging 23.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and a combined 1.5 steals-plus-blocks per game in that stretch.
