Invisible despite start

Bona notched zero points (0-4 FG), three rebounds and one block over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 111-97 victory over the Celtics in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Analisi

Bona started for the sixth straight game, although he continues to offer very little on either end of the floor. During that six-game stretch, Bona has averaged just 2.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 17.3 minutes per game. While there is a chance we will see Joel Embiid (abdomen) before the series is done, Bona may need to have to have more of an impact moving forward.

Blocks three shots in start

Bona produced two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and three blocks over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 109-97 Play-In Game victory over the Magic.

Analisi

Bona remained in the starting lineup, filling in for Joel Embiid (appendicitis), who remains sidelined indefinitely. Despite blocking three shots, Bona served mainly as the backup behind Andre Drummond, who himself had a fantastic night. Should Embiid be forced to miss Sunday's game against Boston, expect Bona to remain in the starting lineup.
