Lands career-high 33 points
Castle finished with 33 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes during Friday's 117-116 loss to the Hornets.

Castle scored a career-high 33 points despite continuing to come off the bench. The arrival of De'Aaron Fox saw Castle move to the second unit in the previous game, during which he managed just 11 points. While this was a much-improved performance, there is a chance he was simply left on the court as the Spurs made a late run. He should remain a key piece for San Antonio, but his playing time could fluctuate from one game to the next.

Heading to bench Wednesday
Castle won't be in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Over 17 appearances from the Spurs' second unit, Castle has averaged 7.2 points, 2.8 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 18.7 minutes, so his fantasy value appears likely to take a hit with Fox in the mix.

Castle recorded his 10th game of the season with at least 20 points as he continues to trend up for the Spurs -- he's averaging 16.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 three-pointers over his last six games. Big changes are coming to San Antonio, however, as the Spurs acquired De'Aaron Fox. Castle is likely to remain very involved in the rotation, but it's hard to see his fantasy value not taking a hit with this move.
