Bey continues to defy logic, leading the Pelicans with 30 points and tallying at least 22 points for the fourth time in the past five games. Although his defensive numbers continue to be adequate at best, Bey's fantasy appeal has perhaps never been higher. In 13 appearances over the past month, Bey has averaged 20.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 three-pointers in 32.0 minutes per game, good enough for top-30 value in nine-category leagues.

Bey racked up 22 points (7-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 141-137 overtime loss to the Bucks.

After scoring just eight points during Monday's loss to the Hornets, Bey bounced back right away with his sixth 20-point effort in his last eight games. Even with the Pelicans fairly healthy, the 26-year-old forward remains locked into heavy minutes. Bey has averaged 22.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.9 minutes per tilt in his last eight contests.

Bey finally slowed down on the offensive end, scoring just eight points, his sparsest tally in more than two months. While this was obviously a night to forget, Bey is in the midst of an unexpected breakout, putting together his best season despite coming off a long-term knee injury. In 45 appearances, he is averaging 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 30.3 minutes per game, good enough for top-90 value in nine-category leagues.
