Ejected Wednesday
Clowney was ejected from Wednesday's game against the Clippers after receiving his second technical foul, independent NBA writer Justin Russo reports.

Clowney racked up 20 points (7-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 132-114 victory over Portland.

However, he responded admirably here and reached the 20-point mark for the second time across his last five outings. The combination of Clowney and Nic Claxton will continue to lead the frontcourt while Cameron Johnson (ankle) recovers, and the scenario is giving Brooklyn's 2023 first-round pick an opportunity to show his stuff. The youngster provides depth upfront, which could persuade the Nets to move Claxton in hope of acquiring draft capital for next season. Clowney is worth stashing for a few weeks in deep formats, as his role will expand if Claxton is dealt.
