Won't return Wednesday
Murray (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Rockets, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Анализ
Murray injured his left ankle -- the same ankle that cost him 20 games from Jan. 6 to Feb. 11 -- in the first quarter Wednesday and is unable to return. He'll end the contest with three points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound and one block across nine minutes. Look for Patrick Baldwin and Daeqwon Plowden to see more playing time for the rest of Wednesday's contest. Sacramento closes out a back-to-back set Thursday against Dallas.

Headed to locker room
Murray sustained a left ankle injury during Wednesday's game against the Rockets and went back to the locker room, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Анализ
Murray exited the game with 3:23 left in the first quarter after sustaining an apparent ankle injury. Wednesday's contest is Murray's fourth since a 20-game absence because of a sprained left ankle. Given Murray's injury history, expect the Kings to proceed with caution.

Turns in 20 points
Murray finished with 20 points (7-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 139-122 loss to San Antonio.
Анализ
Murray tied DeMar DeRozan for the Kings' highest scoring total. With Zach LaVine (finger) and Domantas Sabonis (knee) done for the season, there's tremendous pressure on Murray to carry a heavy load on both sides of the ball. While heavy usage should be expected nightly for Murray if he stays healthy, his lack of support may negatively affect his ability to post consistent totals down the stretch.

Hits for 15 in return
Murray totaled 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, two assists and one block in 32 minutes during Thursday's 131-94 loss to the Magic.
Анализ
Seeing his first action since Jan. 4 after recovering from an ankle injury, Murray was dropped right back into the starting five and saw a full workload. With Domantas Sabonis (knee) set to miss the rest of the season, Murray will be the key figure for the Kings in their frontcourt. On the season, the fourth-year forward is averaging 14.6 points, 6.3 boards, 1.6 assists, 1.6 blocks, 1.4 threes and 1.1 steals over 20 games.
