Braun ended with 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Saturday's 129-103 victory over the Jazz.

Braun has been one of the best players for the Nuggets in the early stages of the season, and an argument could be made to say Braun has been the team's second-best player behind Nikola Jokic. Braun has settled in well as a starter, scoring in double digits in each game and shooting an impressive 52.5 percent from the field.

Another steady effort Friday
Braun supplied 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes during Friday's 119-116 loss to the Timberwolves.

The third-year wing appears headed for a breakout campaign as he settles into the starting two-guard role for Denver. Braun has scored in double digits in all five games to begin the season and pulled down seven boards in three of those contests, while Friday's contest was the first in which he didn't record at least two combined steals and blocks.

Braun chipped in 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 127-125 overtime win over Toronto.

It's still very early in the season, but Braun looks poised for a breakout campaign. He's playing heavy minutes for Denver as a key rotation piece, posting averages of 14.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 blocks, 1.3 steals and 0.7 three-pointers. He's also been red-hot shooting the ball, hitting 56.3 percent from the field.
