Heading to injured list
Miami placed Stowers on the 10-day IL with a left hamstring strain on Tuesday.
Анализ
Stowers exited Sunday's series finale early against the Angels with discomfort in his left hamstring, and the injury proved serious enough to warrant a trip to the injured list. The 28-year-old will be sidelined for at least 10 days for the second time this season, after also missing the first three weeks-plus of the campaign due to a right hamstring strain. The left-handed-hitting Stowers has batted .242/.327/.462 with 16 home runs and 52 RBI in 399 plate appearances this season. Miami recalled Graham Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move.

Exits Sunday with hamstring issue
Stowers was removed from Sunday's game against the Angels in the fifth inning due to left hamstring discomfort, Craig Mish of Marlins.tv reports. He went 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored before departing.
Анализ
Stowers appeared to tweak his hamstring while running out of the batter's box on an RBI single in the fifth. After reaching first base, Stowers appeared to be in pain before limping to the dugout and getting replaced by a pinch hitter. Stowers previously opened the season on the injured list due to a hamstring strain, though that injury was to his right leg. The Marlins will presumably send Stowers in for an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

Reaches base five times Friday
Stowers went 4-for-4 with two RBI and a walk during the Marlins' 4-3 loss to the Angels on Friday.
Анализ
Stowers ended up reaching base safely in all five of his plate appearances in Friday's loss. He put the Marlins on the board in the fourth inning by drawing a bases-loaded walk before giving his team a 2-1 lead in the sixth with an RBI single. His four hits tied a season high that he set three times earlier in the year. Stowers has a .785 OPS with one steal, 16 home runs and 50 RBI over 391 plate appearances this season.
