Nabs win in bulk relief
Fedde (5-6) picked up the win in Saturday's 1-0 victory over the A's, allowing two hits and one walk over four scoreless innings of relief. He struck out three.

Entering the game to begin the third inning after opener Bryan Hudson and Chris Murphy had worked a frame each, Fedde kept the combined shutout going over 55 pitches (33 strikes). Likely to fill bulk-relief role
Fedde is expected to work in bulk relief behind opening pitcher Bryan Hudson in Saturday's game against the Athletics, Brooke Fletcher of Chicago Sports Network reports.

Fedde remains part of Chicago's rotation, but he's been used as a traditional starter just once in his last six outings. Hudson is expected to cover an inning or two before turning the game over to Fedde, who owns a 4.20 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 29:17 K:BB in 40.2 innings out of the bullpen this season.
