Bregman goes into the All-Star break with home runs on consecutive days to give himself a little momentum after a mostly uneven first half of the season. The veteran third baseman is batting .241 with a .695 OPS, nine long balls and 41 RBI across 94 contests. Bregman made a huge impact with his lone hit, as he launched a two-run homer to left field in the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie. That ended up being the decisive knock, as neither team scored for the remainder of the game. Bregman entered Saturday in an 0-for-11, three-game skid, and he's had a subpar first half of the campaign, slashing .236/.333/.345 with eight homers, 43 runs, 37 RBI and two stolen bases through 93 contests.

While it's mostly been a down season for Bregman, he has two multi-hit efforts across his last four games, and he's collected seven RBI in his last eight games. The veteran third baseman has played in all but two of Chicago's contests so far, and he's sporting a .690 OPS with seven home runs and 34 RBI overall. Bregman has traditionally been a better second-half performer during his career, and his consistent playing time gives fantasy managers some hope that he'll build momentum as the year moves along.
