Clingan collected 23 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 18 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks across 31 minutes during Thursday's 135-119 victory over the Jazz.

Clingan posted a strong shooting performance, drilling 66.7 percent of his field-goal attempts on the night. He finished second on his club in scoring behind Jrue Holiday's 31 points, and Clingan dominated on the boards for a team-high 18 rebounds while also setting a new career high with his seven assists. Clingan enjoyed an efficient night against the Sixers, who had to manage without Joel Embiid (rest). Embiid's absence created an exploitable opportunity for Clingan, who was able to keep Andre Drummond under wraps. Clingan has been a demon off the glass over the past week, averaging 15.8 rebounds over the past four games. Portland has gone 2-2 during this period, which is impressive considering the continued absence of Deni Avdija (back). The second-year center continues to emerge as one of the NBA's top rebounders. Clingan has pulled down at least 15 boards in six of his last nine games, averaging 11.8 points, 14.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 threes during that span. His 11.3 boards per game rank third in the league behind five-time All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns and four-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert.
