Won't play Sunday
White won't play in Sunday's game against the Cavaliers due to a right calf contusion, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
Analysis
White was cleared to play in Saturday's loss to the Timberwolves, though he'll sit out the second half of the team's back-to-back set. His next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against the Knicks. Anfernee Simons, Baylor Scheierman and Hugo Gonzalez are candidates for increased roles due to White being sidelined.

Good to go vs. Timberwolves
White (calf) is available for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves, Marc D'Amico of the Celtics' official site reports.
Analysis
White is working through a minor calf injury, which isn't severe enough for him to be sidelined for Saturday's contest. Over his last five games, the guard has averaged 17.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks over 34.4 minutes per game, though he's shot just 39.1 percent from the field over that span.

Expected to play Saturday
White (calf) is probable for Saturday's game against Minnesota, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Analysis
It's worth noting that Saturday is the front end of a back-to-back, so White could be back on Sunday's injury report as well. The star guard has averaged 16.0 points, 5.1 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks per contest in 18 games this season.

Nets 27 points with four stocks
White produced 27 points (7-13 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 7-7 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and two turnovers in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 117-114 win over the Pistons.
Analysis
This was White's 57th consecutive game with at least one triple, which ties a franchise record for the longest such streak in Celtics franchise history. He was spectacular on both ends of the floor, as he hit clutch triples down the stretch and also forced a turnover out of Cade Cunningham on one of Detroit's final possessions. White notched a new season high in points and finished with a plus/minus rating of plus-11 in the three-point win.
