X-rays negative on wrist
Realmuto (wrist) underwent X-rays, which came back negative, following Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Dodgers, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Analysis
Realmuto sustained a left wrist contusion when he was hit by a 97 mph fastball from Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the third inning, which ultimately forced him to exit the game an inning later. Manager Don Mattingly provided an update following the game, outlining that the catcher didn't suffer any additional structural damage and sharing that he expects that Realmuto "will be fine." He can be considered day-to-day ahead of the team's off day Monday before beginning a three-game set with the Padres at home Tuesday.

Analysis
Realmuto exited the game in the bottom of the fourth inning after getting hit in the left wrist by a fastball from Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the top of the third frame. The Phillies are expected to have him undergo further evaluation on the wrist.

Analysis
Realmuto took a 97.1 mph fastball from Yoshinobu Yamamoto off his left hand/wrist in the top of the third inning, ultimately remaining in the game until the bottom of the fourth frame. His ability to stay in the game in any capacity could be a positive sign, but in the meantime, Rafael Marchan has taken over behind the plate versus Los Angeles. More information on the status of Realmuto will likely be provided in the near future.

Analysis
Realmuto ended a 29-game homerless drought with his second-inning blast. He missed time due to back spasms during that stretch. The catcher is batting a meager .206 (13-for-63) over 18 contests in May, with just three of his hits going for extra bases. On the year, he's hitting .231 with a .621 OPS, two homers, nine RBI, 11 runs scored and a stolen base over 35 games.
