McCray is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.
Analysis
McCray had been seeing steady playing time against right-handed pitching since late July, but he looks like he'll be the odd man out of the lineup after the Giants welcomed Victor Bericoto back from the injured list Tuesday. For the second day in a row, McCray will be on the bench while the Giants will roll with a starting outfield of Bericoto, Drew Gilbert and Jung Hoo Lee from left to right.
