Game Master: Top 5 Manager Ideas

The Sorare NBA community continues to inspire us with its creativity and love for the game. To celebrate this, we launched Game Master, inviting Managers to share their most innovative gameplay ideas. After reviewing numerous submissions, we’ve selected five standout concepts that truly highlight the brilliance and ingenuity of our community.

Now, it’s your turn to decide which idea will take home the grand prize: VIP tickets to the NBA All-Star Game! Each of the five finalists will also receive a special edition card, but only one will be crowned the ultimate winner based on your votes. Let’s meet the finalists and their ideas!

The Finalists

1. World Rumble

Rules: Each player in the lineup must hail from a different country (based on birthplace, not nationality). Lineups will operate under a Cap 120 + MVP system.

Why we think it’s Awesome: Celebrates the global nature of basketball, encouraging Managers to think strategically while showcasing players from diverse backgrounds.

2. Be Mine

Rules:All players from teams with red in their logo get a 20-25% scoring boost. Cap 120 + MVP applies.

Why we think it’s Awesome: It’s February, love is in the air ♥️

3. Garbage Time

Rules: Players on teams that are eliminated from playoff or play-in contention receive a 20% scoring bonus. Lineups follow Cap 120 + MVP rules.

Why we think it’s Awesome: Gives love to players on struggling teams, making late-season lineups more dynamic!

4. Hoopequity

Rules: Players’ scores are modified based on their L10 averages:
- L10 >49: -20%
- L10 40–49: -15%
- L10 30–39: -10%
- L10 20–29: +10%
- L10 10–19: +15%
- L10 <10: +20%
  Standard Cap 120 + MVP applies.

Why we think it’s Awesome: Rewards Managers who use underutilized or lower-performing players, adding an additional layer of strategy to lineup building.

5. Stars of Tomorrow

Rules: All players must be under 24 years old and have an L10 average higher than 35. Cap 160 + MVP

Why we think it’s Awesome: Stars of Tomorrow represents a fusion of youth potential and proven performance. By requiring players under 24 with an L10 above 35, we celebrate the next generation of basketball talent while still demanding genuine statistical excellence.
