Homers for lone run in loss
Adames went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Pirates.
Analisi
Adames continued his hot second-half hitting -- he's now 16-for-41 (.390) with four homers and nine RBI since the All-Star break. His long ball Tuesday was one of just two base hits for the Giants in this low-scoring loss. Adames is up to 16 homers, 57 RBI, 64 runs scored, four stolen bases and a .238/.325/.415 slash line across 107 contests. He's been batting third or fourth frequently since the break after hitting lower in the order at the tail end of June.

Adames went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and two RBI in Monday's loss to the Pirates.

Adames helped San Francisco come back from an early deficit, knocking a run-scoring single in the second inning and tying the score with another RBI single in the fourth. The veteran shortstop notched his second straight multi-hit game, achieving that feat for the first time this season. Adames has begun the second half of the season well, batting .395 (15-for-38) with three homers, 10 runs, eight RBI and a 5:7 BB:K through 10 contests.

Adames hit a single in the fifth inning before coming around to score and added another single in the eighth. The shortstop was one of two Giants players to record two hits, marking his third multi-hit performance in his last 10 outings. During that stretch, Adames is slashing .316/.409/.632 with nine runs scored, six RBI, three homers and three doubles across 44 plate appearances.
