The veteran first baseman has already surpassed his career high in homers and is two RBI shy from matching his career best of 80 that he set in 2025 as a member of the Cardinals. Contreras' .937 OPS (across 483 plate appearances) is third-best among qualified hitters in the majors this season behind Yordan Alvarez (1.048) and Shohei Ohtani (.942).
