Traded to Astros
The Orioles traded Urias to the Astros on Wednesday in exchange for right-handed pitcher Twine Palmer, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Analisi
With Isaac Paredes (hamstring) likely to miss the remainder of the season, the Astros will bring in Urias to replenish their infield depth. The 31-year-old is batting .248 with a .688 OPS on the season -- both of which are the lowest marks of his career -- but his defensive versatility will help him crack the starting nine while Houston navigates a plethora of injuries.

Heading to bench Wednesday
Urias is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.
Analisi
Urias will hit the bench for the final game of the series after he picked up starts in both halves of Tuesday's doubleheader. Though the Orioles should continue to make room for Urias in the lineup against left-handed pitching on a regular basis, he'll likely have to settle for more of a part-time role in the infield against righties now that Baltimore has all of its key position players available with the exception of Ryan Mountcastle (hamstring), who will likely return from the injured list next week.

Powers rout in Tuesday's matinee
Urias went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in a 16-4 win over the Blue Jays in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Analisi
The veteran infielder went yard in the sixth and seventh innings as the Orioles broke open what had been a tight game to that point. Urias followed up his performance in the matinee by going 1-for-4 with an RBI in the nightcap, a 3-2 victory that completed the sweep. Urias started at third base in both contests with Toronto sending lefties Easton Lucas and Eric Lauer to the mound, and he should remain effective in a short-side platoon role given his .278/.338/.403 slash line against southpaws this season. However, six of his eight homers on the year have come against righties, including both of Tuesday's blasts.

Getting fifth start in six games
Urias will start at third base and bat fifth in Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Analisi
Urias will stick in the starting nine for the fifth time in six games, going 5-for-18 with three doubles, three walks, one RBI and one run to begin the second half of the season. Four of those five starts have come against left-handed pitching, so Urias may still be viewed as more of a part-time player against righties.
