Lands on IL with strained hamstring
The Angels placed Campero on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right hamstring strain.

Campero began the season in the minors and missed over a month of action due to a fractured right hand. He return to the field in late July and is now getting a look with the big-league club after Wade Meckler landed on the 7-day concussion IL. Campero has thrived across three major-league levels this season, slashing .313/.389/.914 with 13 homers, 54 RBI and 12 steals over 69 contests, though he mostly struggled during his time with the big-league club last year, posting a .618 OPS with three home runs, eight RBI and four stolen bases across 66 plate appearances. Campero is starting in left field and batting sixth against Texas on Saturday, per Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register.
