Mitchell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
Analisi
Since being activated from the injured list Aug. 22, Blake Perkins has slashed .345/.447/.448 over his ensuing nine games to stake a claim to an everyday role in center field, but Mitchell hasn't faded from Milwaukee's outfield picture entirely. Though he'll be on the bench Sunday with lefty Brandon Williamson taking the hill for Cincinnati, the lefty-hitting Mitchell started each of the past four games -- all against right-handed pitching -- and went 6-for-13 with two home runs, one triple, one double, three walks, two stolen bases, five runs and three RBI.

Mitchell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple, a stolen base and three total runs scored in a 14-0 win over the Reds in the second game of Friday's doubleheader.
Analisi
After going 16 games without a homer while going just 7-for-44 (.159), Mitchell now has six hits and two long balls in his last three contests. The 25-year-old outfielder is now slashing .269/.362/.446 with four homers, 21 runs scored, 12 RBI and six stolen bases across 149 plate appearances this year.

Homers, steals base in win
Mitchell went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and stolen base in a 6-0 win over the Giants on Thursday.
Analisi
Mitchell gave the Brewers a 1-0 lead with a solo homer off Hayden Birdsong. The outfielder picked up his third home run of the season, while the stolen base was the fifth. Mitchell has had a decent campaign when available, and there's long-term potential in his left-handed bat should he start getting regular at-bats.
