Guzman has homered in three straight games, taking advantage of the hitter-friendly conditions in Sacramento over the weekend. His blast Sunday was critical, as it erased a three-run deficit in the eighth inning. Guzman produced the only homer of the game with a 376-foot solo shot to left field in the seventh inning. The 22-year-old has gone deep in back-to-back contests after slugging 12 long balls across 58 games with Triple-A Salt Lake prior to his June 8 call-up. Guzman has been getting steady run for the big-league club, as he's started at third base in nine straight games.
