Quantrill was burned by two homers before settling in with four scoreless innings, generating 13 swinging strikes on 88 pitches en route to his third straight quality start. It continued a strong run for the 31-year-old, who boasts a 1.83 ERA over 39.1 innings since suffering a six-run loss July 17. Quantrill (6-4) earned the win Sunday against the Angels, allowing six hits while striking out six over six scoreless innings.

Quantrill threw 68 of his 96 pitches for strikes and didn't issue a walk for the second consecutive start. The right-hander has now completed at least five innings while allowing one run or fewer in five straight starts, lowering his ERA to 2.90 in the process. He's been especially sharp recently, extending his scoreless streak to 15 innings. Quantrill will look to keep rolling in his next scheduled start Saturday against the Brewers.
