Won't play Friday
Curry won't play in Friday's preseason finale against the Lakers due to a finger sprain, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Analyse
Curry sprained the same finger that had been bothering him in the past, and while it's not a serious injury, the Warriors will hold him from the preseason finale. For what it's worth, head coach Steve Kerr told media Friday that Curry will be fine for the regular-season opener against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Curry tallied 16 points (6-18 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six assists, five rebounds and two steals across 28 minutes in Tuesday's 111-97 win over the Lakers.
Analyse
Although the Warriors lifted their preseason record to 5-0, their fearless leader struggled to find the bottom of the basket. Curry tends to live and die by his perimeter shot, but other scoring and decent assist totals usually salvage his stat line when he isn't dialed in. The prolific All-Star matched Kevon Looney with a team-high six assists in the win.

Playing through minor finger injury
Curry is wearing a small wrap on his right index finger but will play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Lakers in Las Vegas, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.

Curry said he's still experiencing minor pain after catching his finger in a jersey during last Friday's win over the Kings. However, the medical staff doesn't believe there's a major re-injury concern, so the point guard will play through the issue.
