With most of the Heat's regulars resting during the preseason finale, Larsson drew a spot start. However, aside from Josh Richardson (shoulder), the Heat are healthy heading into the regular season, so Larsson isn't guaranteed playing time on Opening Night.

Struggles with shot vs. Memphis
Larsson finished Friday's 114-109 preseason loss to the Grizzlies with 14 points (5-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals over 32 minutes.
Analyse
Larsson got his first start of the preseason Friday, and although he struggled from the field, he finished the game with a team-high plus-21 point differential. The rookie second-round pick is unlikely to see much playing time at the NBA level, meaning he could spend most of the 2024-25 regular season getting meaningful reps in the G League with the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

The Heat are resting most of their regulars in the preseason finale since the start of the regular season is right around the corner. Larsson will operate as the shooting guard in the backcourt alongside Dru Smith.
