Doubtful for Wednesday
Grant (knee) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.
Analyse
Grant is expected to miss his second consecutive contest due to right knee tendinitis. The lingering knee injury has already cost him five of the club's last seven outings. If the 30-year-old forward is sidelined once again, Shaedon Sharpe and Jabari Walker could see an uptick in playing time, especially if Robert Williams (knee) or Matisse Thybulle (ankle) are downgraded from questionable to out.

Won't play Monday
Grant (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Golden State, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
Analyse
The 30-year-old forward will miss his fifth outing since Feb. 28 due to right knee tendinitis. His next chance to play will come Wednesday against the Knicks. Kris Murray and Jabari Walker are candidates for a bump in minutes due to Grant being sidelined.

Unlikely to play Monday
Grant is doubtful for Monday's game against the Warriors due to right knee tendinitis.
Analyse
The Trail Blazers will likely exercise caution with Grant on the second leg of a back-to-back set while he continues to contend with right knee tendinitis, which recently kept him sidelined for four consecutive games. With Deni Avdija (quadriceps) listed as questionable Monday, more minutes could be available for reserves such as Jabari Walker, Kris Murray and Dalano Banton if both Avdija and Grant end up sitting Monday.

Meager results in return to action
Grant (knee) logged four points (2-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt), five rebounds and one steal across 24 minutes in Friday's 107-89 loss to the Thunder.
Analyse
Grant made his return to action after missing the Trail Blazers' previous four games with right knee tendinitis and appeared to be operating with some restrictions, as he played at leats 10 fewer minutes than fellow starters Anfernee Simons (36), Shaedon Sharpe (36) and Toumani Camara (34). While Grant could see his playing time pick up a bit in future contests, he hasn't produced at a level this season that makes him a must-roster option in 12-team leagues or shallower. He's been a drain in the field-goal percentage for managers all season, converting at a poor 37 percent clip on 12.2 attempts per game.

Available to play Friday
Grant (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Analyse
The Trail Blazers will be without Deni Avdija (quadriceps) for this contest, but the presence of Grant, who is returning from a four-game absence, should give the team another solid yet unspectacular scoring alternative. Grant is averaging 14.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game since the beginning of February, though it's worth noting that he has missed six of the team's 15 contests in that span.

Questionable to face OKC on Friday
Grant (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.
Analyse
Grant is in jeopardy of missing his fifth consecutive contest due to right knee tendinitis. If the 30-year-old forward joins Deandre Ayton (calf) and Robert Williams (knee) on the shelf, Jabari Walker and Kris Murray are candidates for an uptick in playing time.

Won't play against Boston
Grant (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game against Boston, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
Analyse
The veteran forward continues to nurse right knee tendinitis. Grant's next chance to end a four-game absence arrives Friday in Oklahoma City. Shaedon Sharpe has averaged 24.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 36.2 minutes over his past four games, and he should remain in Portland's starting five in Grant's stead.
