Analysis
Brown pulled down his 3,000th career defensive rebound in this one, becoming just the eighth Celtic in franchise history to reach that milestone since the NBA began tracking such stats in 1973-74. Jayson Tatum notched his ninth double-double of the season in the win, finishing with 23 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 34 minutes in the win.

The 26 points led all scorers on the night. Brown has produced more than 25 points in each of his last eight games, a streak that wasn't derailed by minor Achilles soreness in late March, and during that stretch the 29-year-old wing is averaging 32.6 points, 6.3 boards, 6.1 assists, 2.1 threes and 1.0 steals.

Brown led all players in scoring, with 20 of his game-high 43 points coming in the opening quarter. The star forward has scored at least 29 points in seven straight games, including two performances with at least 41. He also finished second on the Celtics in assists behind Jayson Tatum (11), who recorded his first triple-double of the season.
