Continues to produce off bench
Allen notched 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and four steals over 29 minutes during Friday's 118-116 victory over the Pelicans.
Analyse
Allen provided high-end utility off the bench Friday, matching his season high with eight assists while racking up a team-high four steals. Even off the bench, Allen has maintained a prominent role in the rotation, logging at least 25 minutes in four straight games. While his three-point efficiency has been a bit inconsistent lately, his massive shot volume-averaging 13 attempts from deep over his last four outings, keeps his scoring ceiling high. As long as he continues to see nearly 30 minutes a night, Allen remains a strong nine-category asset, particularly for managers needing help in triples and defensive stats.

Letting it fly from deep
Allen registered 21 points (6-19 FG, 5-16 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Thursday's 105-103 loss to the Bulls.
Analyse
Allen didn't appear to be particularly concerned with capping his opportunities on the offensive end, as he attempted double-digit triples for a third straight game. While he's shooting just 34.1 percent from beyond the arc during this stretch, he's also averaging 22.3 points per game, in large part due to his shot volume. Allen has come off the bench in five straight games for Phoenix and is averaging 21.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.2 minutes per showing.

Turns in 18 points from bench
Allen finished with 18 points (6-15 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, six assists and three steals across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 114-103 win over the Kings.
Analyse
Allen appears destined for a bench role in the short term, especially if the team elects to run the duo of Devin Booker and Collin Gillespie in the backcourt, with Jalen Green at the wing. While Dillon Brooks' (hand) injury was expected to give Allen more time, the team is filling the gaps with Royce O'Neale and Ryan Dunn. Green's resurgence isn't helping matters, so it's reasonable to expect a downtick in production from Allen down the stretch.
