Strikes for 23 in Saturday's loss
Bane produced 23 points (7-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds and five assists over 38 minutes during Saturday's 117-115 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analyse
The fifth-year wing stepped up with his best scoring performance of the playoffs in the absence of Ja Morant (hip), but it wasn't enough to prevent Memphis from getting swept. Bane stayed relatively healthy in 2024-25, making 69 regular-season appearances after managing a combined 100 games the two seasons prior, giving him something to build on heading into 2025-26.

Struggles offensively in loss
Bane finished Thursday's 114-108 loss to the Thunder in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 10 points (3-14 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 37 minutes.
Analyse
Bane was unable to find any rhythm on the offensive end, shooting no better than 25 percent from the field for the second time in the past three games. With Ja Morant (hip) in some doubt for Game 4, the Grizzlies will need Bane to step up should they have any hope of forcing a Game 5.

Double-double in Game 2
Bane logged 19 points (7-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 37 minutes in Tuesday's 118-99 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analyse
It was a better overall performance for Bane on Tuesday compared to Game 1. It was his 10th double-double of the season, and he finished as the game's leading rebounder and as the Grizzlies' third-leading scorer behind Jaren Jackson (26) and Ja Morant (23). Bane averaged 23.8 points on 51.1 percent shooting over his final 10 outings of the regular season, and the Grizzlies will need that kind of production in Game 3 on Thursday down 2-0 in the series.

Bane racked up nine points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 27 minutes during Sunday's 131-80 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Analyse
The Grizzlies were run out of the building in Game 1, so none of the starters eclipsed 30 minutes. Bane struggled against the Thunder during four regular-season contests as well, averaging 15.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 35.7 percent shooting from the field.
