Garland shined offensively in Wednesday's outing, leading all Cavaliers players in threes made while concluding second on the team in scoring and assists in a winning effort. Garland has found success from deep as of late, connecting on three or more threes in nine of his last 10 outings. He has now tallied 25 or more points in seven of his last 10 appearances.

Strong second half not enough
Garland registered 25 points (8-20 FG, 3-8 3PT, 6-8 FT), three assists, one rebound and two steals over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 112-105 loss to Boston.
Analyse
Garland was held to just five points in the first half, but he managed to get things right in the second half, posting a 12-point third quarter that kept the Cavaliers on pace with the Celtics heading into the fourth frame. He has scored at least 20 points in 12 of his last 15 games, and over that span he has averaged 24.6 points on 50.9 percent shooting (including 43.7 percent from three on 7.1 3PA/G), 7.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals over 30.3 minutes per game.

Garland dropped 26 points (11-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, two rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes during Thursday's 137-115 win over the Hawks.
Analyse
The newly minted All-Star paced his team as a scorer and playmaker in the blowout victory. He also joined Ty Jerome and Sam Merrill with the most steals, rounding out what was a solid all-around effort. Garland has been good all season but really started to gain steam in January, averaging 24.8 points, 7.0 assists and 3.0 threes while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 41.6 percent from behind the arc.
