Out for next three games
The Nets announced Saturday that Johnson sustained a right ankle sprain in Thursday's 113-110 win over the Bucks and is set to miss the team's next three games before being re-evaluated ahead of Brooklyn's upcoming West Coast road trip that begins Jan. 10.
Analyse
Johnson sustained the injury in the final minute of Thursday's contest and was one of two key Nets players to leave that game early, as Cam Thomas strained his left hamstring and has been ruled out for at least the next two weeks. With Johnson sidelined for at least the Nets' three-game homestand, Noah Clowney, Ziaire Williams and Jalen Wilson will likely be tasked with covering most of the minutes at forward.

Unlikely to play against Philly
Johnson (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against the 76ers, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Analyse
Johnson sprained his right ankle in the closing seconds of Thursday's 113-110 win over the Bucks, finishing with 26 points and five rebounds over 39 minutes. The good news for the sixth-year forward is that X-rays and further imaging came back negative, but the injury could still be severe enough for him to warrant a multi-game absence. Ziaire Williams, Jalen Wilson and Keon Johnson should all see increased playing time for as long as Johnson is sidelined.

Suffers ankle injury late Thursday
Johnson sustained a right ankle injury during the closing seconds of Thursday's 113-110 win over the Bucks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. He finished the game with 26 points (10-16 FG, 6-12 3Pt) and five rebounds across 39 minutes.
Analyse
Johnson suffered the injury while battling for a rebound with teammate Ziaire Williams. According to Lewis, Johnson had X-rays and underwent imaging on the ankle, which came back negative. However, he was seen leaving the arena on crutches, putting some doubt in his availability for Saturday's matchup against the 76ers. Johnson has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four outings, but the ankle injury could stall the momentum he's been building of late.

Not listed on injury report
Johnson (hip) is not listed on the Nets' injury report for Wednesday's game in Toronto, Meghan Triplett of YES Network reports.
Analyse
As expected, Johnson will be back in action Wednesday after leaving Sunday's loss to the Magic in the third quarter due to left hip soreness. Across 10 December outings, the sharpshooter averaged 22.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.3 minutes per game.

Expects to play Wednesday
Johnson (hip) is expected to play Wednesday against the Raptors, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Analyse
Johnson exited Sunday's game against the Magic with 3:42 remaining in the third quarter due to left hip soreness and wasn't able to return. He was a full go at Tuesday's practice, however, and he noted that his hip felt pretty good. Fantasy managers can expect him to suit up but will want to check back for official confirmation.

Leaves early with hip injury
Johnson exited with 3:42 remaining in the third quarter due to left hip soreness and will not return to Sunday's game against the Magic, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports. He'll finish the game with nine points (3-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists and three steals across 25 minutes.
Analyse
Johnson had sat out the Nets' previous game Friday against the Spurs due to a right hip contusion, but it's an injury to his other hip that will knock him out of Sunday's contest early. The forward had scored at least 18 points in each of his prior five outings, but Johnson's usage moving forward is likely to take a hit with Cam Thomas (hamstring) having returned to action against the Magic and with the newly acquired D'Angelo Russell likely to make his team debut in the Nets' next game Wednesday in Toronto.
