Questionable for Friday
Cunningham is questionable for Friday's game against the 76ers with a right ankle sprain.
Analyse
This appears to be a new injury for Cunningham, but the questionable tag suggests that he's day-to-day. He was dominant in Wednesday's 118-115 loss to Cleveland, finishing with 38 points (11-29 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 13-13 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and four steals over 38 minutes. If Cunningham is unable to play, the Pistons will need guys like Malik Beasley, Tim Hardaway and Marcus Sasser to step up. It's not clear if Dennis Schroder will make his debut for the Pistons on Friday just yet.

Cunningham dominated every aspect of Wednesday's game while doing everything he could to help Detroit claw back into the contest, leading all players in scoring, assists and steals while ending two points short of the 40-point mark. Cunningham, who was perfect from the free-throw line, finished two points short of matching his season high of 40 points, which he has tallied twice. Cunningham has recorded at least 35 points, nine assists and five rebounds on four occasions.

It was the 22nd double-double of the season for Cunningham, who led the Pistons with his 30 points and 14 assists in Monday's narrow loss. Over his last eight contests, the All-Star guard has averaged 30.3 points, 9.8 assists, 5.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.6 three-pointers per game. However, Cunningham is also averaging 5.0 turnovers during that stretch, which is a shortcoming fantasy managers in nine-category leagues hope to see the star floor general improve upon going forward.
