Adebayo registered 83 points (20-43 FG, 7-22 3Pt, 36-43 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 42 minutes during Tuesday's 150-129 win over the Wizards.

Adebayo turned in the second-highest scoring game in NBA history, surpassing Kobe Bryant's 81-point performance from January 2006. The Heat made a concerted effort to get Adebayo the ball down the stretch of the fourth quarter, allowing him to sink a pair of free throws with a little over a minute remaining to reach 83 points. Adebayo scored just under half of his points from the charity stripe and nearly recorded a double-double with a strong effort on the glass. He also broke the NBA single-game records for free throws attempted and free throws made.

Adebayo had a tough time getting his shot to drop in this one and missed all five of his three-point attempts, but he made up for it with his work on the glass and also finished the match without committing a single turnover. The Heat closed the game with an Adebayo-Kel'el Ware frontcourt pairing, and Ware finished with 10 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one steal and four swats over 31 minutes in the win.

Even though there's a strong argument to say Kel'el Ware outplayed Adebayo with his impressive stat line, Adebayo was one of Miami's top scoring weapons in a comfortable 16-point win. The star big man extended his streak of games with at least 20 points to four, and he's recorded three double-doubles over that stretch as well. Adebayo will likely remain as one of Miami's most reliable scoring and rebounding weapons for the Heat going forward.
