Robles was diagnosed with a small fracture in the humeral head of his left shoulder after an MRI on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined at least 12 weeks, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Analyse
The injury was caused by the shoulder dislocation that he suffered while making a leaping catch into the wall/netting Sunday against the Giants. It appears Robles won't require surgery, but the injury is expected to need six weeks to heal before he can begin a six-week rehab program. Dominic Canzone was added to the big-league roster when Robles was placed on the injured list, but it was Luke Raley that received the start in right field Monday versus Houston.

Robles suffered the injury while making an outstanding catch in the bottom of the ninth inning of Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Giants. Though the 27-year-old outfielder has been given a preliminary diagnosis of a dislocation, he'll undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. The Mariners recalled Dominic Canzone from Triple-A Tacoma to replace Robles on the 26-man active roster.

Robles suffered a left arm injury while making an acrobatic catch in the bottom of the ninth inning of Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Giants, and it's now understood to be a shoulder injury. The severity of the injury remains unknown, but if Robles does end up on the IL, Dominic Canzone is a candidate to be promoted from Triple-A Tacoma and replace him on Seattle's 26-man roster.

Analyse
Robles made a spectacular catch in right field for the second out in the bottom of the ninth inning, but he collided with the wall in foul territory and was ultimately carted off the field. The outfielder's status will likely be updated in the near future, but Robles appears to be set to miss some action moving forward.

Robles went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Tigers.

Robles got the Mariners on the board in the second inning with a double to center that brought J.P. Crawford and Dylan Moore across home plate. It was Robles' first RBIs since Opening Day against the Athletics, and the 27-year-old is on a five-game hit streak in which he's gone 6-for-21 with three doubles and two RBI.
