Shines during no-decision
Corbin did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Brewers, allowing one run on four hits and one walk while striking out six over 5.2 innings.
Analyse
Corbin turned in a strong bounce-back outing, after allowing four runs in four innings in his season debut. The lone run came in the fourth on a sacrifice fly following back-to-back hits, but the left-hander settled in from there and held Milwaukee hitless the rest of the way. With Trey Yesavage nearing a return to the rotation, Corbin's performance came at an important time, strengthening his case to remain in Toronto's starting mix moving forward.

Another start awaits Thursday
Corbin is slated to start Thursday's game against the Brewers in Milwaukee, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analyse
Though he was a free agent all offseason until signing with the Blue Jays on April 3, Corbin had been staying on top of his throwing program while awaiting an opportunity. He needed just one four-inning appearance in the minors at Single-A Dunedin before the Blue Jays were comfortable calling him up last Friday to aid an injury-plagued rotation. The Twins roughed Corbin up for four runs on six hits and one walk over four innings in his Toronto debut, but the veteran lefty will receive a second turn through the rotation while the Blue Jays wait for Trey Yesavage (shoulder) to return from the injured list. Yesavage threw 52 pitches last Thursday in his second rehab appearance for Dunedin and will make at least one more start in the minors before potentially being activated.

No-decision in 2026 debut
Corbin did not factor into the decision in the Blue Jays' 10-4 win over the Twins on Friday. He allowed four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three across four innings.
Analyse
Corbin signed with the Blue Jays on April 3 to give the team depth in the rotation due to the absences of Shane Bieber (elbow), Trey Yesavage (shoulder), Jose Berrios (elbow) and, most recently, Cody Ponce (knee). It wasn't the kind of season debut Corbin was hoping for, as he gave up a three-run homer to Ryan Jeffers in the first inning before yielding a solo shot to Brooks Lee in the fourth, but Corbin escaped with the no-decision after the Blue Jays took the lead with five runs in the bottom of the frame. Yesavage and Berrios are inching their way toward being activated from the IL, but Corbin should continue to serve as Toronto's fifth starter in the rotation in the short term. Corbin is tentatively slated to start next week on the road against the Brewers.
