Belts big homer Saturday
Manzardo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday in a 4-3 win against Seattle.
Analysis
Manzardo's two-run homer in the sixth inning gave Cleveland a 3-0 lead and proved critical in a game his team won by a single run. Manzardo's sixth-inning blast aroused a dormant Guardians' offense, which scored runs in the final four innings to pull out a victory over the team they are chasing for a wild-card spot. The blast was Manzardo's 22nd of the season and snapped a 13-game drought without going deep. He batted just .136 (6-for-44) during that stretch.

Manzardo singled in the Guardians' first run in a three-run first inning that provided all the scoring in the game. It was just the second win in the last 10 games for Cleveland, which may be pivoting from playoff contender to preparing next year's team.
