Remains sidelined Tuesday
Springer (wrist) remains out of the Blues Jays' lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Analyse
Springer tweaked his wrist Sunday against the Orioles and will sit for the second straight game, as Myles Straw gets the nod in center with Addison Barger manning right field. Springer continues to be listed as day-to-day. His next chance to start will be Wednesday against Spencer Strider.

Out Monday with swollen wrist
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that Springer -- who is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta due to left wrist inflammation -- will take batting practice, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.
Analyse
Springer was forced out of Sunday's 7-6 win over the Orioles after tweaking his wrist during a fifth-inning at-bat, but he appears to have avoided a serious issue after an X-ray and MRI both came back clean. The Blue Jays will wait and see how his wrist responds to BP before determining if he'll be available off the bench Monday or if he'll be ready to return to the lineup Tuesday.

Absent from Monday's lineup
Springer (wrist) is not in the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
Analyse
Springer had to depart Sunday's contest versus the Orioles with a left wrist injury. X-rays came back negative and he is considered day-to-day for the time being, but he will miss at least one start. Toronto is going with an outfield of Alan Roden, Myles Straw and Nathan Lukes in Monday's series opener.

Good news from X-rays
Springer (wrist) underwent X-rays, which came back negative, on his left wrist following Sunday's 7-6 win over the Orioles, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analyse
Springer exited the contest in the fifth inning after tweaking his left wrist during his at-bat in the top of the frame. The outfielder is considered day-to-day for the time being, and he seems to have avoided a significant injury ahead of Toronto's three-game set at home with Atlanta beginning Monday.

Leaves early with wrist issue
Springer went 0-for-3 with a strikeout before being removed from Sunday's game against the Orioles due to left wrist discomfort.
Analyse
Springer -- who was serving as Toronto's designated hitter -- appeared to tweak his wrist during his final at-bat in the fifth inning. He'll presumably receive further treatment for his wrist before the Blue Jays determine whether he'll be ready to return to the lineup for Monday's series opener versus Atlanta.
