Arroyo started at third base and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Cubs.
Analyse
Arroyo made his first start for the Reds since being called up Friday when the team placed Ke'Bryan Hayes (groin) on the 10-day injured list. This was his first time starting at third base for the Reds, although he did play seven games at the hot corner for Triple-A Louisville this year. He and Eugenio Suarez, who was the designated hitter Sunday, can fill in at third base while Hayes is unavailable.

After spending just under a month in Louisville, Arroyo will rejoin the big-league club Friday. Over his last 15 games in Triple-A, the 23-year-old is slashing .239/.271/.239 in 48 plate appearances. The Reds sent Ke'Bryan Hayes (groin) to the injured list, opening a spot on the 26-man roster for Arroyo.
