The Mets optioned Devenski to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.
Analyse
Devenski was called up for Saturday's contest and will return to Syracuse after delivering three scoreless frames against the Marlins. The right-hander has a 2.30 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 12:5 K:BB across 15.2 big-league innings this year and could get another look with the Mets during the final month of the regular season.
