Carrasco (neck) made his first start since May 15 after a minimum-length stint on the 15-day injured list due to neck spasms. Carrasco's struggles continued Sunday, losing his third straight outing and allowing five or more earned runs for the third time in his last six starts. The 37-year-old veteran has eaten up innings for Cleveland this season but has not delivered for fantasy managers, posting a 5.66 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across 49.1 frames. He will look to turn things around in his next start, tentatively scheduled for this weekend in Miami.

The Guardians reinstated Carrasco (neck) from the 15-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the Nationals.
Analyse
Cleveland made room for Carrasco on the 26-man active roster by placing right-handed reliever Eli Morgan (elbow) on the 15-day injured list. Carrasco ended up spending the minimum amount of time on the shelf due to acute neck spasms, which he experienced coming out of his most recent start May 15. Though he's not expected to face any major workload restrictions as he steps back into the Cleveland rotation Sunday, Carrasco is tough to trust for fantasy purposes after he delivered a 5.16 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over his first nine starts of the season.

Carrasco (neck) is expected to be reinstated from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday's game against the Nationals at Progressive Field, SI.com reports.
Analyse
He'll be taking back his rotation spot from right-hander Xzavion Curry, who was optioned to Triple-A Columbus earlier in the weekend. After being deactivated May 21 due to acute neck spasms, Carrasco will end up spending the minimum amount of time on the IL, and even though he didn't require a minor-league rehab assignment while he was on the shelf, he's not expected to face any major restrictions with his pitch count Sunday. That being said, the 37-year-old right-hander hasn't been a roster-worthy fantasy option in the majority of leagues this season, going 2-4 with a 5.16 ERA, 4.16 WHIP and 34:18 K:BB in 45.1 innings over his nine starts.
