Thomas isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.
Analyse
An 0-for-4 performance Friday snapped what had been a three-game multi-hit streak for Thomas, and the D-backs will now get him some rest against Tyler Glasnow and the Dodgers. Jake McCarthy will fill the void in center field and bat seventh.

Knocks in two runs in win
Thomas went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Brewers.
Analyse
Thomas was part of a productive lower third of the order that drove in all six of Arizona's runs. His third-inning single off Jose Quintana delivered the team's final two runs and held up as the game-winning knock. Those were his first RBI in nine contests. Thomas doesn't usually start against left-handers, but the center fielder found himself in the starting nine for a second straight game against a southpaw.
